Citizens Park Start and Finish - followed by a post race party
Whether you shuffle like the undead, sprint like you're being chased, or stroll like a friendly ghost, you're invited to creep, crawl, and cackle your way through the Idaho Springs Cemetery for our annual Halloween Fun Run! Choose between a 5K or 1-mile loop and enjoy candy along the course, spooky surprises, and community fun that goes grave-deep.
Zombies are highly encouragedbut if you prefer to be a fairy, hot dog, alien, or banana, go for it. Just know you might be a target for hungry runners in tattered clothes moaning about braaaains. All costumes are welcomelet your creativity and comfort do the choosing.
Prizes will be awarded to:
Best Costumes
Race winners who make it to the finish line without losing a limb (just kidding kinda)
Leashed, friendly dogs are welcomeespecially those dressed to impress. Matching undead duos get bonus applause.
Please note: distances are approximatebut the fun is guaranteed.
