The Harrison Park Turkey Trot is back for its 3rd year on Saturday, November 2, 2024, in Springfield, Sangamon. This family-friendly event features a chip-timed 5k and a 1-mile fun run/walk starting at 3 pm, with a free short kids run for the little ones. Participants will receive a finisher medal, post-race food and drink, and have the option to purchase a commemorative t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers in both the 5k and 1 mile event, as well as age bracket awards for the 5k.
