Get ready for the inaugural Harvestfest 5K, happening on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, in the scenic Hungry Horse, Montana! This exciting race will take participants on a picturesque gravel road alongside the stunning South Fork of the Flathead River, making it one of the most beautiful runs of the year. The race kicks off at 11:00 AM at Canyon Elementary School, featuring an out-and-back course that welcomes runners and walkers of all levels. Don’t forget to bring your strollers, but be prepared for a section on gravel!
As a chip-timed event, the Harvestfest 5K will recognize top male and female finishers in various age categories, from 10 and under to 60+. Participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets the day before at the Columbia Falls Area Chamber Office to avoid long lines on race day. After crossing the finish line, enjoy a variety of festive activities including a children's fun run, pie-eating contest, chili cook-off, and more, all happening from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Join us for a day filled with fun, community spirit, and fall festivities while supporting the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and West Glacier Elementary School

JOIN US FOR THE FIRST ANNUAL 5K IN HUNGRY HORSE, MONTANA! THIS BEAUTIFUL COURSE WILL TAKE YOU ON A GRAVEL ROAD RIGHT NEXT TO THE SOUTH FORK OF THE FLATHEAD RIVER. IT WILL BE ONE OF THE PRETTIEST RUNS YOU HAVE DONE THIS YEAR! THE RACE WILL START AT 11:00AM ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19TH. THE RACE STARTS AND ENDS AT CANYON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN HUNGRY HORSE, MONTANA AND IS AN OUT AND BACK COURSE. RACE PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WALK OR RUN THE COURSE. STOLLERS ARE WELCOME, BUT PLEASE NOTE, THAT A SECTION OF THE COURSE IS ON A GRAVEL ROAD SO BE PREPARED!

PLEASE NOTE: SAME-DAY PACKET PICK-UP IS ALLOWED THE DAY OF THE RACE FROM 8:30-10:30 AM, BUT WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND PARTICIPANTS PICK UP YOUR PACKET THE DAY BEFORE AS LINES WILL GET LONG. SAME-DAY PICKUP WILL END PROMPTLY AT 10:30AM TO ENSURE THE RACE STARTS ON TIME AT 11:00AM.
