Get ready for a spooktacular day of running at the Haunted 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at James D. Martin Park in Gadsden, Alabama! This exciting event kicks off at 8:00 AM, and with a variety of race distances to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Runners will have the chance to tackle the 5K course, which is a single out-and-back loop, while those seeking a greater challenge can take on the 10K by completing the loop twice. For the ultimate endurance test, the Half Marathon will have participants racing four times around the scenic pea gravel trail.
Don’t forget to dress to impress! While costumes are encouraged but not required, there will be a special award for the best costume, making this event even more festive. Packet pickup starts 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts.
All runners must register on RunSignup.
No on-site registration.
ADDITION INFORMATION
Your GPS may take you to a small building on Old S 4st Street.
If so, go south onto Old S. 4 Street and turn right in the parking lot.
We are just behind the Gadsden Mall.
This course is on a pea gravel trail.
5K & 10K COURSE
