THE TIMOTHY SCHOOL IS HOSTING OUR 8TH ANNUAL 5K FAMILY FUN RUN & WALK ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12TH, 2025 AT WILSON FARM PARK. THE TIMOTHY SCHOOL IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO EDUCATING CHILDREN WITH AUTISM, AGES 5-21. FOR ALMOST 60 YEARS, THE APPROVED PRIVATE SCHOOL HAS WORKED TO MEET STUDENT NEEDS THROUGH UTILIZING A RESEARCH-BASED INSTRUCTIONAL MODEL AND FOCUSING ON EACH STUDENTS INDIVIDUAL STRENGTHS AND NEEDS TO INCREASE THEIR SKILLS AND BUILD THEIR INDEPENDENCE.
THIS IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT FOR INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES. PARTICIPANTS CAN JOIN BY RUNNING A 5K, PARTICIPATING IN THE ONE MILE FUN RUN/WALK, OR JOINING US FOR THE 'AFTER PARTY' POST-RACE FESTIVITIES! THERE WILL BE A VARIETY OF FUN STATIONS AFTER THE RACE SUCH AS: RAFFLES, REFRESHMENTS, LAWN GAMES, MOON BOUNCE, SENSORY TABLE, AND A LIVE MUSIC PERFORMANCE BY OUR AMAZING MUSIC THERAPIST, JAKE!
