Grab your furry, four-legged pal and join the Detroit Police Department and Detroit Medical Centers Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) for the Heart Diggity Dog 5K on Sept. 20, 2025! Run, run/walk or walk through through Midtown and Downtown Detroit! Start from Brush Mall, next to RIM and the DMC Heart Hospital, 311 Mack Ave., Detroit, in between Beaubien and John R, head down John R to Comerica Park, circle around the neighborhood and back up to Midtown. Participants receive a t-shirt and custom medal, and dogs get a Heart Diggity Dog 5K dog bandana. Have a fun, heart-healthy day with your furry friend downtown while supporting the Detroit Police Department!
