Organiser's Description
Heartfelt Help Foundation [https://www.heartfelthelpfoundation.com] is hosting our fourth annual virtual 5k! Hike, bike, run, walk, swim or dance! However you move, move with us and raise needed funds to help heart transplant recipients right here in Northern California pay for the costs associated with transplant that insurance doesn't cover. This includes our lodging program, providing temporary recovery housing when their doctors require it, their insurance doesn't cover it, and they can't afford it, and our new program, Axel's Helping Hand to help heart transplant patients and their families in Northern California with costs that are non-medical, but patients and families are unable to pay due to loss of income related to their transplant. This includes overdue rent, car payments, utilities and much more. We believe that financial stability leads to family stability which ultimately leads to the health of the patient and longevity of their new heart.
HHF ensures Equity and Access for heart transplant recipients despite their personal financial limitations providing what is necessary to facilitate recovery, and helps patients return them home as soon and as strong as possible.
Join us today wherever you are and let's move to provide help and hope for financially disadvantaged heart transplant patients!
Heartfelt Help Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in good standing. All donations over and above the event registration fee are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
EARLY REGISTRATION BONUS! REGISTER YOURSELF AND FIVE FRIENDS BY AUGUST 29TH AND RECEIVE A $20.00 REFUND!
