The first Heather's Home was established in Haiti and a second home in Ghana, providing abandoned children with love, education, and a brighter future. Participants can join the in-person 5K race or opt for the VIRTUAL RACE, which allows runners from around the globe to take part from their chosen locations between June 1 and June 10.
Children aged 12 and under can also join in the fun with a Kids Fun Run! The first 125 participants in the 5K will receive exclusive finisher medals, making this an event you won’t want to miss. Plus, all virtual participants will receive a race packet in the mail, complete with a custom finisher medal and the option to purchase a race t-shirt. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, athleticism, and the chance to make a difference in the lives of kids in need!

Organiser's Description
The first Heather's Home was established in November of 2009 in Haiti by John and Heather Earley of Erin, NY. A second home is open in Ghana now in cooperation with Love Aflame! Worldwide. Kids Fun Run is for ages 12 & under. Finisher Medals for the 5K are for the first 125 participants.
We are offering a VIRTUAL RACE! This means our participants may be from all over the world! Join our team and run the Heathers Home 5K Virtual Race beginning June 1 through June 10.
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE? A Virtual Race is like a traditional race but it takes place in a location and time of your choice. You can walk, jog, or run wherever you may be, and at any time during the race timeframe for your chosen distance. All participants in the Heather's Home Virtual Race will receive a race packet via mail after the race. (Local runners may also choose to pick up their packet or have it delivered within a 20-mile radius.) Runners will receive a race t-shirt (available for an additional fee) and custom Finisher Medal. Registration includes all domestic shipping fees. Additional fees for international shipping.
