Event summary
Swim in the refreshing waters of a spring-fed man-made lake, then cruise along recently reconstructed two-lane roads while enjoying the safety provided by local sheriffs. Runners will tackle a flat and fast trail course, set against the backdrop of stunning scenery and a welcoming community. All participants in the triathlon, duathlon, or aqua-bike will be treated to a post-race meal, a commemorative shirt, a finisher's medal, and age group awards for the top three finishers. Plus, for those interested in a more leisurely experience, a virtual option is available for just $25, with all race participants receiving a medal. Everyone registered for the triathlon, duathlon or aqua-bike will receive a post-race meal, shirt, finishers medal and age group award up to 3rd place.
The Fun Run is an economical race organized as a fundraiser. All 5K participants will receive a finishers medal.
All net proceeds go to charity. Example: $2,000 has been donated to the Prickly Pear Land Trust and smaller amounts to Girls Thrive and other local athletic non-profits. In 2021, we donated $500 to the Helena Food Share and $200 to the Helena Dragon Boat team, who provided swim volunteers.
