Join us for the 19th annual Heroes for the House 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the beautiful city of Indianapolis, Marion! This exciting event welcomes competitive and fun runners of all ages, including walkers, joggers, families, and even pets. Participants will enjoy a scenic course along the popular Indianapolis Downtown Canal, all while supporting a worthy cause. Proceeds from the event go directly to helping families with children in local hospitals stay at the Ronald McDonald House at little or no cost, ensuring that parents can focus on their children's care without the burden of hotel expenses.
In addition to the 5K, there will be a Rookie Run, games, and activities for kids, making it a fun-filled day for everyone. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, and all participants gain free entry to the Hall of Champions with their race bib. This 5K event is perfect for competitive and fun runners, walkers, joggers, moms, dads, children and even pets! Event proceeds help families with children in area hospitals stay at the nearby Ronald McDonald House at little or no cost. That way, parents can be with their children throughout treatment without worrying about a large hotel bill. So far, IREM Indy, with the help of our sponsors and participants, has raised over $300,000! All of our great efforts go a long way, earning IREM Indy the prestigious Helping Hand Award and having a room named after us at the Ronald McDonald House! . There are cash prizes for top three male and top three female finishers. There will be games and activities for kids, plus a Rookie Run after the main 5K event!! Participants gain free entry to the Hall of Champions with race bib. The course is back on the popular Indianapolis Downtown Canal.
