Join us for the inaugural Hope On the Run event on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, in the heart of Cherokee! This exciting fundraiser supports the local Pregnancy Crisis Center and offers a fantastic opportunity to engage with your community while getting active. Participants can choose from a 10k run, a 5k run, or a fun walk for all ages. The 10k and 5k courses will take you on a scenic route that includes a double back trip around the beautiful city park and local Elementary School, while the family-friendly walk is a quick loop around the First Baptist Church.
Registration and check-in begin at 7:30 AM at First Baptist Church Centre, with races starting at 8:00 AM. Don’t miss out on the chance to pre-register by April 4th to secure a lower fee of just $25 and a guaranteed race shirt! Kids aged 5 and under can join for free. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun day out with the family, Hope On the Run is the perfect event for everyone. Walk 5k and 10k option fundraiser for the local Pregnancy Crisis Center. April 18th for our FIRST Annual Walk/5k/10k. Pre-register by April 4th for a lower fee and guaranteed race shirt!
Where? Registration/Check in at 7:30 at First Baptist Church Centre. 8:00 races stagger start.
What? 10k, 5k, and last and not least our WALK option!
-The 10k (along with our brisk walk course and a double back trip around our beautiful city park and local Elementary School)
-The 5k (our brisk walk course and a trip around our city park and local Elementary School)
-The walk is a quick brisk around the church with your whole family. 5 and under(no t shirts available) walkers are free!
