Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Hornet Hustle 5K, taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in the vibrant city of Knoxville, Knox. This invigorating 5K race is not just a run; it's a fantastic opportunity to support the Carter High School track team as they gear up for their upcoming season. The race features an out-and-back course that starts at the Carter Community Pool on Carter Mill Dr, with a turnaround on McCubbins Rd. Participants can look forward to a well-organized event, complete with a water stop at the turnaround and awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age group winners in ten-year increments.
Whether you're an avid runner or a casual participant, everyone can join in on the fun! All racers will receive a custom T-shirt, but make sure to register early, as T-shirt orders close two weeks before race day. If you prefer to show your support without running, consider participating in the Fun Walk or making a donation. Organiser's Description
Come support Carter High School track team with this 5K fundraiser to help support the team's upcoming season. Race will be an out and back, starting at Carter Community Pool on Carter Mill Dr, with the turnaround on McCubbins Rd. Course will have 1 water stop located at Turn around!
Awards will be given to top 3 Male & top 3 Females overall. Age Groups will be awarded to top individual per gender for every 10 year increment (9 & under, 10-19, 40-49 etc). All participants will receive a custom T-shirt. T-shirt orders will close two weeks before the race date, registrations after midnight on 11/23 at midnight are NOT guaranteed a race shirt.
