This year’s festivities coincide with Huron's lively River Festival, so don’t miss the chance to catch the River Fest parade at 11:00 AM after your run!
The event features not only the traditional 5K run/walk but also a fun 2-person relay, adding an extra layer of excitement. Each team member will take on a leg of the race, making it a perfect way to engage with friends and family. With categories for all-male, all-female, and co-ed teams, there’s something for everyone. Don’t forget about the kids' fun run taking place around 9:30 AM, where young runners can participate for just $1! Organiser's Description
Join us for a beautiful summer morning race throughout Huron's Old Plat and Oklahoma neighborhoods starting and ending at the Huron River Pier. There will be one water station on the route at the 1.5 mile marker located at the Huron High School. This traditional annual race will be held during the weekend of Huron's River Festival. The kids' fun run will take place at approximately 9:30. After your race, you can catch the River Fest parade on Cleveland Rd at 11:00 AM.

START LINE IS AT THE CORNER OF MAIN ST. & WALL ST. - AT THE HURON RIVER PIER, IN FRONT OF THE PIER PUB.
2 PERSON RELAY FUN FOR 2025! The first leg of your team will run 1.56 miles then exchange with the second leg at the start line. The second leg of the team will end at the finish line with all other 5k runners and walkers. Three (3) categories of teams to register under: all male, all female and co-ed. Top 2 finishing teams in each category will be awarded.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE :: Runners & Walkers EARLY BIRD ONLINE REGISTRATION UNTIL MIDNIGHT JUNE 26, 2025 entry Fee: $20.00 per participant. Total TEAM entry fee is $30. You will be guaranteed a race shirt by this date.
AFTER THIS DATE, online registration and day of registration will be $25 per participant and $35 per team. A race shirt is not guaranteed.
- KIDS' FUN RUN will be held between 9:00 and 9:30. Race Day registration only / $1 per child / will receive a race bib for keepsake.
* Finishers Awards we will be claimed for the TOP 3 finishers in each age category. Male & Female OVERALL finishers will also be awarded plaques. MEDALS AWARDED TO THE TOP 3 PARTICIPANTS IN EACH 5 YEAR AGE CATEGORY.
