WHAT IS HUSTLE FOR HABITAT?
Hustle for Habitat is a community 5K run/walk hosted by the Habitat for Humanity UWMadison Chapter in support of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County. The event brings together community members and UW-Madison students to raise funds and awareness for affordable homeownership programs that help local families achieve long-term housing stability.
WHY JOIN US?
Your participation helps support Habitat for Humanity of Dane Countys work to provide affordable homeownership opportunities in Dane County. Proceeds support the construction and financing of permanently affordable homes through:
* Volunteer labor
* Homeowner education
* 0%-interest, income-based mortgages
Through fundraising, volunteer builds, and campus engagement, UWMadison students play an active role in advancing Habitats mission. Habitat for Humanity of Dane County partners with families to build anywhere from 815 new homes each year.
Every registration and contribution helps support this work and expand access to affordable housing in our community!
