Join us on Sunday, May 17, 2026, for the vibrant I Got Your Six Walk/Run in Bourbonnais, Kankakee! This uplifting annual event is dedicated to raising awareness about the challenges faced by police officers, honoring the legacy of Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and Officer Tyler Bailey. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just want to enjoy a leisurely stroll, there's something for everyone with a 10K run, 5K run, and a 2-mile walk. Plus, if you can't make it in person, you can participate virtually!

Bring your furry friends along, as this event encourages participants to register their dogs to join in on the fun. All participants will receive an exclusive I Got Your Six race shirt and medal, while registered dogs will get a custom race handkerchief to show off their participation. The event takes place at the beautiful Perry Farm Park, where you can enjoy a smooth paved path winding through natural prairie, woods, and riverfront access. Best of all, all proceeds will support two Kankakee Community College Law Enforcement Scholarships in honor of the officers’ names. Get ready to lace up and make a difference!
