Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun and fitness at the Iao Valley 5K & 10K taking place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in the stunning Wailuku, Maui. This vibrant event invites runners of all levels to enjoy a scenic course that winds through the breathtaking Iao Valley State Park. The race kicks off at the intersection of Market St & Vineyard St., leading participants up W. Vineyard St. and Main St. to the picturesque park. After reaching the turnaround point, runners will experience a thrilling downhill route back to Wailuku, making for an exhilarating race experience.
In addition to the race, participants can look forward to a lively atmosphere complete with door prizes for lucky winners after the event. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet the day before on Saturday, July 19th, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at The Parlay Maui. Please note that for safety reasons, strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course. Join us for this exciting day filled with camaraderie, stunning views, and an energetic community spirit!

Organiser's Description
Come run a scenic route through Iao Valley State Park. The run will start at the intersection of Market St & Vineyard St., and will head up W. Vineyard St., onto Main St. and up to the scenic Iao Valley State Park. After the turn around, enjoy a rolling downhill back to Wailuku.
Parking will be available at the Wailuku Municipal Parking Garage. Parking is free until 10am with a State ID. Race packet pick up will be held on Saturday, July 19th from 12:00 to 4:00pm at The Parlay Maui located at 2086 Main St. in Wailuku.
For the safety of all participants, STROLLERS AND DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
Door prizes will be given out to lucky winners after the race so come join us for another fun race!
Deadline for t-shirts was June 15, 2025. We'll try our best to accommodate everyone and we'll be giving out shirt sizes in order of when participants signed up.
