This family-friendly event kicks off at 8 a.m. and promises a fun-filled day for participants of all ages. Whether you choose to run or walk the chip-timed 5K, your participation supports the Christus Victor Lutheran Church Food Pantry, which serves over 60 families each week with essential food and personal care items.
Early registration is just $30 until August 25, after which it will increase to $35, so be sure to sign up early! In addition to the race, there will be exciting activities for kids, a free untimed children's race, and a cookout featuring delicious food. Don't forget to bring along nonperishable food donations to help those in need! With a DJ keeping the energy high and a chance to win fun prizes through a raffle, this event is set to be a memorable experience for the entire community. REGISTRATION FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DISCOUNTED TO $30 FOR ALL THOSE WHO REGISTER _BEFORE AUG. 25_. The price will increase to $35 on Aug. 25.
The Christus Victor Lutheran Church Food Pantry supports over 60 families each week who come in to shop for free. In addition to offering nonperishable and perishable food items, we also offer personal care products and hats and gloves in the winter. This funds raised from this event will support our food pantry!
This event is open to the community and will be a family-friendly event. There will be a DJ and a cookout with delicious food to follow! In addition to a chip-timed 5K run or walk, there will be activities for the children and an untimed (free) childrens race. There will also be a box to collect food donations!
