Join ITRA on February 21, 2026, for our annual Winter Trail Run-N-Fun!
Hot, cold, wet, or dry, we will be hitting the trails at YELLOWWOOD STATE FOREST to cure the winter blues by logging in some miles on sweet single track, eating some great food, and sharing a hot or cold beverage.
ITRA will be hosting out of the PICNIC SHELTER HOUSE located adjacent to the White Oak and Red Bud Campground Loops off of Yellowwood Lake Road. The route will use the Lakeshore Trail and some adjacent trails for a ~6.5-7 mile loop. Run or hike one loop, run multiple loops, or hit any of the ancillary trails to extend your mileage if you're training for that early spring ultra. Whatever your goals, ITRA has your back at the Shelter House with a fire, hot soup and sandwiches, electrolyte drinks, and beverages. Come out to run, but plan to stick around and socialize!
The event is FREE to both ITRA members and all interested trail runners. Please bring a friend or two, but registration is necessary so that we can adequately account for food, aid, and supplies.

Event headquarters will be the Yellowwood Picnic Shelter House located adjacent to the White Oak and RedBud Campground Loops off of Yellowwood Lake Road about 0.2 miles south of the State Forest Office. Look for the signage! Parking will be in the adjacent campground area. Please be considerate of others when parking and carpool with friends if possible.
