Innova Prep's Run For Your Life 5K For Dyslexia Awareness

Innova Preps Run For Your Life 5K For Dyslexia Awareness can be run as an in-person race or as a virtual race. You choose whichever one works for you. 
The in-person races will be held on October 28, 2023, at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), 118 College Dr., Hattiesburg, MS 39406.  The race will begin at 5:00 p.m. at The Payne Center. The Run For Your Life Dyslexia 5K will be a 5k run/walk. All 5K runners will receive a finisher medal at the end of the race. There will be an awards ceremony following the race. For those attending the in-person race, packet pick up will be on Friday, October 27, from 4-6 p.m. at Innova Preparatory School (1000 Broadway Drive, Suite 46), or you can pick up your packet the morning of the race at the race site. We will have a costume contest following the race, so come in your scariest costume! There will be food and drinks available post-race for purchase. 
For those choosing the virtual race, participants will run their own course and can post their times.  As soon as you register, you can run the race. The website will remain open for runners to post their times until October 28, 2023. Participants will post their times via the Run For Your Life Dyslexia 5K website.  Virtual race participants will receive their race t-shirts through the mail during the week of October 23.
