Do you feel warm, heroic, accomplished? All of the above and more? The IRISH I Was Faster will help you get that good tired feeling and generate a sense of selflessness. As runners and walkers, we know that sports keeps us healthy and teaches us many life lessons. YOU can support young people to stay healthy and learn important life lessons through sports.

The "IRISH" I Was Faster is a 4K Run/Walk that supports the Imlay City Athletic Boosters. The Athletic Boosters works to support the athletes of the Imlay City Schools. Funds from this race will be used to provide for team needs such as gear, uniforms, equipment, and the HUDL system so that they have the tools needed to be successful to excel in the sport they are participating in. HUDL provides video review and performance analysis tools for sports teams and athletes at every level.

This race will take you around the Imlay City Schools from the high school where the athletes spend their school day as well as the Middle School, Weston St. Elementary and Borland Elementary. The route will also take you through the baseball grounds, track and football field. As a participant you will have the opportunity to see the grounds and buildings that you are providing support for.

Most people struggle with the amount of races to choose from, at the IRISH our fun and welcoming volunteers ensure your anxiety on race day is only those pre-race jitters. At the IRISH you will feel like your are competing in your own hometown.
