Participants can look forward to an array of festivities, including a colorful limited-edition shirt for those who register before March 6th, with a no-shirt option available for a discount. After the races, join us for an After Race Party at Good Hops Brewing, where an awards ceremony will recognize the top finishers and teams. Proceeds from the Tinted Turtle Trot will benefit the Island Montessori School, the only free and public Montessori education in New Hanover County. Organiser's Description
Island Montessori School will hold the 10th Annual Tinted Turtle Trot 5k and 1 Mile Run on Sunday, March 23rd at Mike Chappell Park in Carolina Beach. This years event features a Kids Dash for younger participants as well as 5K and 1-mile races.
We are celebrating this milestone event with a colorful and limited-edition shirt and many other fun touches!
Participants can register before March 6th to be guaranteed a shirt. This year registration will offer a no-shirt option for a $5 discount. Please select "No Shirt" on the giveaway page during registration to receive that discount at checkout. Registration is currently open, with discounts provided to school, athletic, corporate, and community teams.
An awards ceremony will be held at our After Race Party at Good Hops Brewing in Carolina Beach after the 5K. Awards ceremonies will begin no later than 11:30am for all races. Food will be available for purchase at the After Race Party (details coming).
