Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun and fitness at the ISLANDKIDS TRIATHLON on Saturday, June 28, 2025, taking place in the beautiful Avalon, Cape May! Celebrating its 19th year as the largest youth triathlon in the Mid Atlantic Region, this exciting event is designed to inspire young athletes while raising funds for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Participants will take on a thrilling 100-meter ocean swim, a 5K bike ride on a closed course, and a fun 1K beach run, all while being chip-timed for precise results.
This year’s event will kick off with Early Bird Registration opening on March 1, 2025, at 9:00 AM, so mark your calendars! Each participant will receive a fantastic athlete's bag, race bib, swim cap, a comfy Tultex shirt, and a coveted finisher's medal. Awards will be presented to the top five finishers in various age groups, with a special celebration in the Community Hall at 10:30 AM. Don't miss the chance to team up with a parent for the Fastest Family Award and enjoy delicious treats like Sundae Best water ice and Kohlers Bakery donuts post-race.

We are celebrating 19 years of being the largest youth triathlon in the Mid Atlantic Region. An extremely safe course where the focus is on fun, fitness, finishing a unique challenge, and racing for charity. This is race #1 in the Avalon Youth Multisport Series. Race #2 Beach Classic Fun Run [https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Avalon/FriendsandFamilyBeachRun] on July 22nd and race #3 Splash N' Dash [https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Avalon/SplashNDash] on August31sr and score a FREE Hat Trick Award for completing all three races!
Participants will be chip timed with 5 splits, receive an athlete's bag, race bib, swim cap, Tultex comfy shirt, and finisher's medal. Awards to top 5 in each Age Group: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15. Awards and post race celebration inside Community Hall at 10:30am. Enjoy Sundae Best water ice on the beach, and NEMOS Pizza, Kohlers Bakery donuts prior to the awards ceremony.
