Join us for the vibrant and energetic 59th Annual Jambalaya Festival 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in Gonzales, Ascension! This exciting event will kick off bright and early, with registration starting at 6:15 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 7:00 AM and the 5K Run at 7:30 AM. Set within the beautiful grounds of the Lamar Dixon Expo Center, located at 9039 S. St. Landry Ave., this flat and fast course is perfect for runners of all ages and skill levels.
Participants in the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will enjoy a fantastic atmosphere filled with music, cooking, and, of course, delicious jambalaya at the after-party! All entrants will receive a free t-shirt, and awards will be given to top finishers in various age categories and team competitions. Registration fees are just $25 for the 5K, $15 for the 1 Mile, or $30 for both, so gather your friends and family for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit.
