The Jingle Bell Jaunt 5k & 1.5 Mile Walk/Fun Run, organized by the Gilmont Service Club, is set to take place on Saturday 7th December 2024 in Mt Gilead, Montgomery. This festive event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in Downtown Mt. Gilead. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Christmas attire/costume for a chance to win prizes. The 1.5 Mile Walk/Fun Run and 5K Run offer early bird rates for registration, with the option to participate virtually as well. The course will take participants around Mt. Gilead, and though the event is untimed, there will be awards for participants. Parking will be available at First United Methodist Church, and all funds raised will go directly to the Mt. Gilead Police Dept. Shop with A Cop Program. Don't miss out on this fun and festive event!

DESCRIPTION: Gilmont Service Club presents the Jingle Bell Jaunt 5k & 1.5 Mile Walk/Fun Run. Help us kick off the holiday spirit in Downtown Mt. Gilead. Wear your favorite Christmas attire/costume, there will be prizes!
1.5 MILE WALK/FUN RUN RATE: Early Bird Rate Now - Nov 27 = $20
Price Increase Nov 28 - Dec 7 = $25
5K RUN: Early Bird Rate Now - Nov 27 = $25
Price Increase Nov 28 - Dec 7 = $30
T-shirt deadline is Nov. 27. If you register after this date, your shirt is not guaranteed by race day.
VIRTUAL EVENT: Does not include T-shirt. Run 3.1 miles anytime on your own before Dec.7
COURSE: Both races will be on the same course around Mt. Gilead, a race map can be found on our Facebook event page.
EVENT TIMING: This event is untimed.

PARKING: Parking will be available at First United Methodist Church (100 N. Main St Mt. Gilead NC, 27306). Pre-race meet up is on the front church yard between the Speckled Paw Patio and the corner of N. Main St & E. Allenton St.
All funds raised will go directly to the Mt. Gilead Police Dept. Shop with A Cop Program.
Due to liability issues, no dogs or pets are allowed to participate.
