Get ready to lace up your running shoes and embrace the holiday spirit at the Jingle Trails Challenge on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in beautiful San Antonio, Bexar! This unique trail running event invites participants to step off the pavement and onto the rugged paths of McAllister Park, where you'll navigate dirt, roots, rocks, and gravel, all while soaking in the festive atmosphere. Choose your adventure with a challenging 10K Blue Loop or a spirited 5K Red Trail Dash. Both races will bring you together for a lively finish line celebration, complete with complimentary Shiner beer to toast your achievements!
Participants can look forward to some fantastic swag, including a finisher's medal, a stylish Jingle Trails canvas tote (for the first 200 registrants), and a cozy beanie. Don’t forget to dress festively—ugly sweaters, reindeer antlers, and Santa hats are all encouraged to add to the merriment! The event kicks off with packet pickup on December 11, followed by race day festivities starting at the Optimist Pavilion at McAllister Park. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and holiday cheer that you won’t want to miss!

Step off the pavement and into the holiday spirit! The Jingle Trails Challenge takes you through the winding paths of McAllister Park in central San Antonio. Expect dirt, roots, rocks, and gravel this isnt your average road race. Its a true trail run, sprinkled with holiday cheer and a cozy finish waiting for you at the end.

Test your trail legs on the Blue Loop! Due to current construction, expect a slightly longer course with a short detour.

This is a chip-timed 10k through McAllister's blue trail loop. The trail has technical areas: strollers and joggers are not recommended. You will be running on dirt, rocks, roots, single track areas. Please watch your footing. Please note: there is construction on the blue loop. This will result in the course being slightly modified and running long. Estimated distance is 6.5 miles vs 6.2 miles so YAY! You get a little extra distance for free! -
