Join us for the 3rd annual Jodi 5K Run & Walk on Sunday, November 10th, 2024, in beautiful Durham! This uplifting community event is dedicated to the memory of Jodi Lynn Koviach, who lost her battle with lung cancer in October 2021. With a focus on camaraderie and the love of running, this chip-timed 5K run or walk not only honors Jodi's spirit but also supports the Lung Cancer Initiative, making it a truly meaningful occasion.
Participants will enjoy finisher's awards, t-shirts, and a delightful selection of post-race food and refreshments. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, November 9th at Bull City Running - Downtown from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with race day packet pickup on Sunday, November 10th at the Forest Hills Park pavilion from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM. The race kicks off at 9:00 AM, and there's even a virtual option for those unable to attend in person. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to run, walk, and support a great cause while celebrating community spirit!

This is a community event remembering Jodi Lynn Koviach who died from lung cancer in October 2021. Jodi loved running and even more the community and camaraderie it provides. There is no better way to honor her memory than by having this run, which symbolizes so much of what she valued AND supports a great cause!
The race is a chip-timed 5K run or walk with finisher's awards, t-shirts, and post-race food and refreshments.
