The Jordan Narrows 5K marked a huge milestone for me—it was my sixth 5K of the year, which means I’m officially halfway to my goal of completing a 5K every month!
I really loved that this was a smaller race. There were fewer participants than some of the bigger events I’ve done, but it wasn’t any less exciting. The atmosphere felt more personal, and it was easy to appreciate the beautiful course and enjoy the experience without feeling crowded.
For some reason, this race was an emotional one for me. I think it finally hit me that I’m halfway through a goal I set for myself at the beginning of the year. Crossing the finish line wasn’t just about completing another 5K—it was a reminder that consistency really does add up.
This race may have been smaller, but it ended up being one of the most meaningful ones I’ve done so far. I’m excited to see what the second half of my 5K journey has in store!
