Hosted by the passionate students of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Georgia Southern University, this fun-filled race invites participants to either run or walk along a scenic route on the Armstrong Campus. This year’s jungle-themed event encourages everyone to don their best Safari, animal, or tacky tourist attire, making it a delightful spectacle for both participants and spectators.
With race distances of 5K and 10K, there’s something for everyone! Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow racers as you are cheered on by enthusiastic volunteers along the route. Don’t forget to swing by the packet pickup on Friday, April 25th, or on race day from 7:15 to 7:45 AM. The race kicks off at 8:00 AM sharp, so make sure to arrive early! Organiser's Description
This race is a 5K/10K run/walk hosted by students of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Georgia Southern University (Armstrong Campus). The race route spans the Armstrong Campus, and will be lined with volunteers to cheer you on. The theme for 2025 is a Jungle Jog, and participants are encouraged to wear their Safari/animal/tacky tourist themed attire. Participants will receive a race t-shirt and swag bag at on-site packet pickup. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in each category. Proceeds will benefit the Georgia Southern Physical Therapy Club and enable our students to opportunities to engaged with and serve the Savannah and surrounding area.
The race is family and dog friendly, feel free to bring along strollers and/or leashed dogs.
