Runners of all abilities are welcome, with a special 70+ age division and every participant receiving a finisher award to commemorate their achievement.
The festivities kick off with packet pick-up at the iconic Laury Barn (Big Red Barn) on Friday, August 8th, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and continue Saturday morning from 6:00 AM to 6:45 AM. The race itself begins at 7:30 AM, featuring a vibrant atmosphere with aid stations, crew support, and a chance to preview the course with the "Baby Howl" on Friday evening. With awards for the top three runners and walkers in each category and a post-race celebration featuring delicious food, this event is not to be missed. Plus, camping is available for participants looking to make a weekend out of this incredible event

Limited to 350 participants. There will be NO refunds, deferrals or transfers of division. No exceptions. READ ALL RULES.
COURSE
The race will be run in the opposite direction this year. This means for you all of you race veterans you will be running or walking down Watermelon Hill. Start and Finish at the Laury Barn (Big Red Barn). The course is a 3.25 mile loop through the park. The course is a mix of grass, gravel, and pavement. There is a full aid station around the halfway point of the course. Runners can have their own aid at the start/finish, including crew support.

Pick up your race packet in the Laury Barn (Big Red Barn). Canopies can be set up Friday starting at noon. Anyone sleeping overnight at the park must check in as a camper and pay the $20 camping fee.

Howl at the Moon - race begins outside the Laury Barn at 7:30AM. You must check in and pick up your bib from your scorer BEFORE the race.
RUNNERS:
* PACERS. Only one pacer per loop. Pacers must sign waiver and wear a bib. Pacers can start at 11:30 am. No pacers on out and backs.
* Loops are counted by personal scorers for each age division.
* You must check in with your scorer each loop.
* YOUR SCORER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
* Runners cannot start a loop after 3:00 P.M.
* 1/4 Mile out and back course starts at 3:00 P.M.
* Last 30 minutes the out and backs -as many as you can before 3:30pm
WALKERS:
* PACERS. Only one pacer per loop. Pacers must sign waiver and wear a bib. Pacers can start at 11:30 am. No pacers on out and backs.
* Loops are counted by personal scorers.
* You must check in with your scorer each loop.
* YOUR SCORER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.
* Walkers cannot start a loop after 2:45 P.M.
* 1/4 Mile out and back course starts at 2:45 P.M.

AWARDS AND AFTER PARTY
Top 3 runners male/female overall. Top 3 runners in each age group. Top 3 walkers male/female overall. Post race food will be provided. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate all food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Camping available on Friday & Saturday. $20.00 fee includes both nights. Fee will be donated to the park. YOU MUST PAY THIS FEE EVEN IF YOU ARE SLEEPING IN A VEHICLE.
