Organiser's Description

Explore the scenic Glenroy Preserve trails at the third annual Kettle Cooker Five & Dime on October 5th, 2024 presented by Philadelphia Runner, Herr's Snacks and Altra Running, along with many local sponsors! It takes a village!

Glenroy Preserve is a beautiful outdoor playground that also happens to be rich in history. Some of the trails will take you through parts of the Underground Railroad, while even running past a tavern that was said to have served patrons during the Civil War.

Each distance is a loop. The 10 mile and 25K distances will follow the same course but then split around mile 9. ALL distances offer plenty of hills, creek crossings, mixed terrain, and plenty of on-course support.

Start time is 8:00am for ALL distances.

Registered runners will enjoy:

* Entry to the 5 or 10 mile, or the 25K trail race
* Chip timing
* Soft race tee courtesy of Altra
* Water and nutrition on course at all three (3) aid stations
