Join us for the exhilarating Kettle Cooker Five & Dime Trail Race on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, set against the stunning backdrop of Nottingham, Chester. This exciting event invites runners to explore the scenic trails of Glenroy Preserve, a location steeped in history, including paths that trace back to the Underground Railroad and a tavern that served Civil War patrons.

Participants can choose between two thrilling distances – a 5-mile or a 10-mile race, with the option to tackle both! The race kicks off at 8:00 AM with staggered starts to accommodate all runners. Registration includes chip timing, a soft race tee, and access to water and nutrition at three aid stations. After crossing the finish line, enjoy a complimentary beer (for participants 21 and over), along with post-race snacks, food, and live music. Organiser's Description

Explore the scenic Glenroy Preserve trails at the second annual Kettle Cooker Five & Dime on October 6th, 2024 presented by Philadelphia Runner, Herr's Snacks and Altra Running!

Glenroy Preserve is a beautiful outdoor playground that also happens to be rich in history. Some of the trails will take you through parts of the Underground Railroad, while even running past a tavern that was said to have served patrons during the Civil War.

Each distance is a loop with staggered starts to allow for the opportunity to run both distances. Start time is 8:00am for ALL distances.

Registered runners will enjoy:

* Entry to the 5 mile or 10 mile trail race with an option to do _BOTH_ distances
* Chip timing
* Soft race tee courtesy of Altra
* Water and nutrition on course at all three (3) aid stations
* A complimentary beer post race (1 per person. 21+)
* Post race snacks, food & music
* Special premium giveaway for those that sign up for & complete both distances!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4 FROM 12-3PM AT LOLA'S 57 S. 3RD ST., OXFORD, PA.

PLEASE NOTE: RACE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON OCTOBER 4, AND THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICK UP.
