Get ready for an exciting opportunity for young runners at the Kids Run Columbus event on Thursday, July 9, 2026, held in Columbus, Muscogee! This vibrant event is designed for kids in grades K-6 and will kick off with a fun and engaging six-week training program at Hardaway High School, starting on June 25. Each session, running from 6 PM to 7 PM, will include 20-30 minutes of training, gradually building up to distances from 1/4 mile to 1 mile or more, depending on each child's ability.
The highlight of the Kids Run Columbus is the target race at Lakebottom Park on Saturday, August 1, where participants can choose to run either 1 mile or a 5K.
