Join us for the King Cares Annual 5K on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in beautiful Stamford, Western Connecticut! This exciting event brings together the King student-athletes from the fall athletic teams for the 12th year in a row, as they host a fun walk/run that benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford and the Orphaned Starfish Foundation.
With a race distance of 5 kilometers, participants will enjoy a vibrant atmosphere while supporting vital community programs. Registration begins at 9:15 A.M. at Simon House Lawn, with the race starting promptly at 10:00 A.M. Entry fees are $30 for participants aged 15 and older, $10 for children ages 6-14, and free for those 5 and under. Your participation not only contributes to a great cause but also allows King students to engage in meaningful community outreach. Come out, run for a purpose, and make a difference in your community!

Organiser's Description
King student-athletes from the fall athletic teams will host the 12th annual King Cares 5K fun walk run benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford, as well as the Orphaned Starfish Foundation. Your contribution or participation in the event will not only go to help fund programs but also helps King students engage in a reciprocal learning experience through community outreach, a key component to the King mission statement. Donations of all sizes are accepted.
Please note: Registration for participants 15 and older is $30 per person. Registration for children 6-14 are $10 per person. Children 5 and under are free.
