Event summary
Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including 18, 43, or 66 miles for the Gravel Bike Race, and 18, 33, or 54 miles for the Fondo, all set against the backdrop of picturesque bayou views and engaging terrain. The 5k and 10k runs will take place on paved roads within the serene park. Don't miss the chance to enjoy on-site camping or group lodging, complete with RV hookups and bunkbed cabins, making it easy to immerse yourself in the event atmosphere.
All racers receive a post-race meal and a commemorative T-shirt, with early registrants enjoying special pricing. Join us for a weekend filled with camaraderie, competition, and the beauty of Kisatchie National Forest, while supporting local trail
Organiser's Description
Gravel Bike Race is 18, 43 or 66 mile options. Course is about 50/50 gravel/paved with good elevation.
5k/10k Run or Walk is on paved roads inside the park.
Fondo Road Shakeout Ride is 18, 33 or 54 miles.100% paved back country roads with low traffic, scenic bayou views & good elevation.
MTB Race is on classic Sugar Cane Trail with some extra thrown in! Dirt, Roots & some Climbs!
All Participants get a post race meal & T-Shirt. Register by July 3rd at 5pm for early bird pricing. Register by Oct 18th to get T-Shirt!
All proceeds go to Bike Minden for trail maintenance & expansion at Caney Lakes & Kisatchie Forest.
