WELCOME TO THE FIRST ANNUAL KUKINI KEAAHALA 5K, SPONSORED BY HUI MAKUA O PU'OHALA AND KE KULA KAIAPUNI 'O PU'OHALA. THIS INAUGURAL RACE MARKS A MILESTONE YEAR FOR PU'OHALA AS WE CELEBRATE OUR FIRST GRADUATING CLASS OF SENIORS UNDER THE CASTLE HIGH SCHOOL KAIAPUNI ACADEMY, WHILE CONTINUING OUR COMMITMENT TO STUDENT LEADERSHIP, HEALTH, AND WELLNESS.
THE KUKINI KEAAHALA 5K WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 23, 2026, BEGINNING AT 7:00 A.M. ON THE CAMPUS OF WINDWARD COMMUNITY COLLEGE, WHICH ALSO SERVES AS A PART-TIME CAMPUS FOR PU'OHALA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE RACE WILL SUPPORT THE STUDENTS AT PUOHALA, INCLUDING BOTH THE KAIAPUNI AND ENGLISH PROGRAMS PAPA M-12. ALL OF WHICH PROMOTE STUDENT WELLNESS AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES IN THE KANE'OHE COMMUNITY.

STROLLERS AND WALKERS ARE WELCOME AND ARE ASKED TO START TOWARDS THE BACK. ONLY THE PERSON PUSHING THE STROLLER NEED REGISTER. THE OCCUPANT OF THE STROLLER DOES NOT NEED TO REGISTER.
DURING REGISTRATION YOU WILL BE ABLE TO VIEW AN IMAGE OF THE RACE TEE SHIRT AND PURCHASE ONE, IF YOU WISH, FOR $15.
TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR RECOVERY, THERE WILL BE REFRESHMENTS SERVED AFTER THE RACE.
