Join the festive spirit this Independence Day at the Lake Winnebago 4th of July 5K and Kids Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in beautiful Cass, Missouri! The Kids Fun Run kicks off at 7:30 AM, with age groups for children 9 and under, followed by those aged 10-12, and the 5K race will follow immediately after. Registration is just $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, and participants who sign up before June 10th will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
Not only is this race an excellent way to get active and enjoy the holiday, but it also supports a wonderful cause. Last year, over $12,000 was raised for local families and charities through the generosity of participants and sponsors. Organiser's Description
Beta Sigma Phi (Alpha Beta chapter) is excited to host the annual 5K and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run in connection with the upcoming 4th of July festivities! This race is an unchipped event.
$25 per adult. $20 per child 12 and under. Registration for the race includes a t-shirt if registered before June 10th.
T-shirt and bib pick up date at the AYC is July 2nd from 5-8pm, or shirts can be picked up the morning of July 4 at the race.
Morning of July 4 -
* 6:45 am - Registration begins
* 7:30 am - Kids 1-mile Fun Run. 9 & under age group first, 10-12 age group next and 5K will immediately follow the Kids 1-mile Fun Run
Last year, over $12,000 was donated to local families in need, as well as charities such as Cornerstones of Care, Pets for Life, Bikers Against Child Abuse, and KyMel (a camp for children fighting cancer.) These donations were made possible through race entries, t-shirt sales, sponsorships, and donations.

OPENS 01 MAYThe Kids Fun Run begins at the AYC at 7:30AM and is 1 mile running on Lake Winnebago Drive towards the front entrance. The 5K race begins at the AYC and follows Lake Winnebago Drive with turnaround on the 200 block. This route will be blocked by the Lake Winnebago Police Department and inaccessible by car starting at 7:30 AM until roughly 9:00 AM. The course will be closed off to both car and golf cart drivers. -
