Join us for the Lake Winnebago 4th of July 5K and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the picturesque Lake Winnebago in Cass, Missouri! Celebrate Independence Day with a morning of fun and fitness for the whole family. The event kicks off bright and early at 6:45 AM with registration, followed by the Kids 1-Mile Fun Run starting at 7:30 AM. Young runners will race in age groups, with those 9 and under taking the lead, followed by the 10-12 age group, before we jump into the exciting 5K race.
This is a fantastic opportunity to participate in a community-focused event, with registration fees set at just $25 for adults and $20 for children aged 12 and under. Don't forget, early registrants get a stylish t-shirt when they sign up by June 8th! You can pick up your race-day essentials at the AYC on July 2nd from 5-8 PM or grab them the morning of the race. BETA SIGMA PHI (ALPHA BETA CHAPTER) IS EXCITED TO HOST THE ANNUAL 5K AND KIDS 1-MILE FUN RUN IN CONNECTION WITH THE UPCOMING 4TH OF JULY FESTIVITIES! THIS RACE IS AN UN-CHIPPED EVENT.
$25 per adult. $20 per child 12 and under. Registration for the race includes a t-shirt if registered before JUNE 8TH.
T-shirt and bib pick up date at the AYC is July 2nd from 5-8pm, or shirts can be picked up the morning of July 4 at the race.

Last year, over $7,000 was donated to local families in need, as well as charities such as HorsePower Experiential Learning Program (HELP), Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care (KCH) and Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). These donations were made possible through race entries, t-shirt sales, sponsorships, and donations.

OPENS 01 MAYThe Kids Fun Run begins at the AYC at 7:30AM and is 1 mile running on Lake Winnebago Drive towards the front entrance. The 5K race begins at the AYC and follows Lake Winnebago Drive with turnaround on the 200 block. This route will be blocked by the Lake Winnebago Police Department and inaccessible by car starting at 7:30 AM until roughly 9:00 AM. The course will be closed off to both car and golf cart drivers. -
