Participants will begin by traveling through the Sensory Walk portion of the course, experiencing the interactive stations before continuing on to the full 5K route. Beyond the sensory section, the course opens up into a clear running path, giving runners and walkers space to find their rhythm and focus on the race. Our 1-Mile Sensory Walk is the heart of the Live Your Best Life Sensory Walk & 5K, designed to be welcoming, accessible, and engaging for participants of all abilities. Along the route at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, participants will experience interactive sensory stations that celebrate movement, creativity, and fun. Walk through scented bubbles, run through colorful ribbon tunnels, explore art displays, pop bubble wrap, and pass through our beloved flower tunnel. This event is perfect for families, first-time participants, and anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxed walk while celebrating inclusion and community.
