Join us for the vibrant and exciting "Miles in the Maize" event on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, in North Liberty, Johnson! This unique running experience is perfect for participants of all ages and abilities, featuring a fun-filled 5K and a whimsical Maize Mile. The festivities will kick off with the Maize Mile at 9:30 AM, followed by the 5K race at 10:00 AM, taking runners through a picturesque off-road course that winds around a corn maze and a pumpkin patch, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Iowa's fall scenery.
In addition to the races, don’t miss the chance to participate in the costume contest with awards announced at 9:50 AM, just before the 5K begins! The event will also host a post-race awards ceremony to celebrate the overall and age group winners. This year, we are thrilled to support the Corridor/Eastern Iowa Let Me Run organization, with proceeds directly benefiting this local initiative that promotes community, fun, and fitness for boys in elementary schools. Be sure to register in advance, as race day registrations will be accepted until 9:15 AM, and don't forget to pick up your race packet on November

Miles in the Maize is a unique running experience for people of all ages and abilities! With a 5k and Maize Mile, this event takes competitors through a unique off-road course weaving around a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and other beautiful fall Iowa scenery!
The Maize Mile will kick off the festivities at 9:30am, and the 5K will follow at 10:00am! Costume Awards will be voted on and awarded, along with Maize Mile Awards at 9:50am - prior to the start of the 5K!
There will be a brief post-race awards ceremony at the conclusion of the 5k for overall & age group winners.
