The St. Malachi Team was saddened to have had to cancel the 46th Annual St. Malachi Church Run/Walk in-person event due to severe storms in the area. While we are unable to reschedule due to city permit restrictions, we are excited to offer an alternativean in-person virtual option! This allows participants to complete the run or walk on their own while still being part of this cherished tradition. Participants from the original event will need to register ($0) for this option so that we can have an accurate count of how many people to expect.

The Malachi Run/Walk suffered a huge loss on Friday night with the passing of Francis McGarry, the 2025 Hibernian of the Year and a key Malachi Run/Walk team member. To honor Francis, we are dedicating this Saturday's run as the Francis McGarry Remembrance Run.

RunSignup's RaceJoy tracking app will be used to record participants' times since we are not able to utilize traditional timing mats. Participants must run or walk with their phones and utilize the RaceJoy app to record their time. You will receive an email with additional instructions on how RaceJoy works after you have registered for the 100% free event.

Please note that streets will not be closed to traffic, and all participants must follow the rules of the road and obey all traffic laws. Stay tuned for more details on how to participate and keep the spirit of the St. Malachi Church Run alive!
