Join us for the Mary Cleary 5k on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in the charming town of Waterville, Oneida! This vibrant event honors the legacy of Mary Cleary and supports the American Cancer Foundation. Runners will set off from Fireman's Field and embark on a scenic route that winds through the library driveway, downtown, and across various streets, culminating at the Waterville Public Library. This race is not only an opportunity to challenge yourself with a fun 5k but also part of the exciting Route 20 Road Challenge Series!
Registration is open for the first 75 participants, who will receive a unique, artist-designed t-shirt, while others can join on a first-come, first-serve basis. Don’t forget to grab your friends and family for the Free Cruisin' Kids Run starting at 9:30 AM, followed by an award ceremony celebrating the top finishers in various age categories. Mark your calendars for a day filled with community spirit, competition, and fun in support of a great cause!

Organiser's Description
The Mary Cleary 5k is in honor of Mary Cleary and to support the American Cancer Foundation. This year, join us in person and on the road where we will start at the Fireman's Field / Dirt Road and through the library driveway. Left downtown and up Madison Street. Right on Terry Place. Down Tower Street, on to Main Street. Left on Buell Ave. Right on West Bacon Street ( where our water station will be) Cross Route 12 and continue on to East Bacon Street. Right on to Elmwood Ave. Right on White Street. Finish at the Waterville Public Library. In addition, this race is #23 in the Route 20 Road Challenge Series!
Please watch for traffic, use sidewalks if preferred, and let's have a great race!
