Get ready for an exciting day of running at the Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon taking place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the beautiful city of Kerrville, Texas! This exhilarating event kicks off at 8:00 AM, with packet pickup starting 30 minutes prior, ensuring runners are all set for a fantastic race experience. Participants can choose from three exhilarating distances: the 5K, a scenic out-and-back course that challenges you to complete it twice; the 10K, which involves four loops of the same route; or the Half Marathon, where you’ll conquer six loops of the scenic terrain.
All finishers will be rewarded with a themed medal to commemorate their accomplishment, and there will be plenty of opportunities to earn points towards the US Road Running Race Series. While dressing up in costume isn’t mandatory, it’s highly encouraged to add a splash of fun to the event! Remember, no on-site registration is available, so be sure to register in advance through RunSignup. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, achievement, and a whole lot of fun in Kerrville!
