This exciting event, hosted by the Toledo Area Bicyclists (TAB), invites riders of all skill levels to join in a thrilling 65-mile Metric Century Ride. Starting at 8:00 am from the picturesque Side Cut parking lot along the river, cyclists can choose between two groups led by experienced ridersβone at a brisk pace of 18 to 20+ mph and another at a more relaxed 16 mph. The scenic route will take participants north to Napoleon and back, offering stunning views along the way.
As you don your US patriotic gear, remember that this ride is not just about cycling; itβs also a chance to support a worthy cause. Donations will be collected for HOOVES, an organization dedicated to using horses to aid veterans and their families in healing from trauma. Organiser's Description
Toledo Area Bicyclists (TAB) will again be sponsoring the Memorial Day Metric Century Ride (65 miles). ALL RIDERS WELCOME (you do not have to be a member of TAB to ride). We encourage everyone to wear their US patriotic kit.
Riders will leave the Side Cut parking lot on the river side at 8:00 am. There will be two groups. Eric Wharton will lead the faster group, 18 to 20+ mph. Jodie Petcoff will lead the slower group at 16 mph. The route will take riders to Napoleon on the north side of the Maumee River and return to the Waterville Bridge on the south side of the river. This year we will again be collecting DONATIONS TO HOOVES [https://hooves.networkforgood.com/projects/246818-give-hope-heal-lives-join-the-journey-of-transformation]. PLEASE MENTION TAB'S MEMORIAL DAY RIDE IF DONATING ONLINE.
