_RACE FOR THE FUTURE_ is Mercy Health Services inaugural 5K and 1-mile walk, created to help fuel the _Mercy Forever 150th Anniversary Campaign_ and the _We Are 150_ employee engagement initiative. The Mercy Forever campaign celebrates 150 years of compassionate care while investing in the next generation of healing services for our community.
Taking place at the Maryland Zoo, this community-wide event brings together patients, caregivers, employees, corporate partners, families, and friends to move with purpose, honoring Mercys legacy and ensuring that the mission of Mercy lives on forever.
Proceeds from the _RACE FOR THE FUTURE_ will support critical programs and initiatives that expand access to care, advance medical innovation, and strengthen the communities we serve. Every step taken represents a commitment to Mercys mission: to heal, to comfort, and to serve those who need us most.
For those who cannot join us in person, we invite you to participate virtually and share in the magic of race day from your own backyard!
