Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the METAvivor 5k, taking place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the beautiful Ridley Creek State Park in Newtown Square, Delaware! With 100% of the proceeds after race expenses going directly to METAvivor, your participation will make a significant impact in the fight against Stage IV breast cancer.
The race kicks off at 10 am, with bib pickup starting at 9:15 am. Whether you choose to participate in-person for just $20 (before January 19, 2025) or opt for the virtual run at the same price, you’ll be contributing to a worthy cause. Runners will enjoy a chip-timed experience on a scenic, flat course, and there will be awards for the top male and female finishers, as well as medals for the top three in various age groups. Organiser's Description
The METAvivor 5k will benefit the METAvivor Charity which supports metastatic breast cancer research, support, and awareness. 100% of proceeds after race expenses will be donated to METAvivor. METAvivor focuses on research efforts to render Stage IV breast cancer as a survivable condition. Research for Stage IV, the stage in which breast cancer kills, is hugely underfunded. Please come support this excellent cause.
The in person run will start at 10am. Runners will be chip timed from the moment they start to the moment they finish the race!

Registration for the in person run is $20 through 1/18/2025.
Race cost 1/19/2025 through race day on 1/25/2025 is $25.

Flattest possible course on the scenic paved main multi use trail at Ridley Creek State Park. Race will begin at Picnic Area 17 and follow an out and back. Bottled water, bananas, apples, oranges, Wawa coffee, pretzels, granola bars and more will be available at the end of the race.
