Get ready for a fantastic evening of fun and community at the 3rd Annual Summer BBQ & Fun Run on Friday, August 15, 2025, in Pleasant Valley, Dutchess! This exciting event will take place at James Baird State Park, starting with a FREE adult group run at 5:15 PM, led by the enthusiastic Shawn Beresford. All abilities are welcome to join in the camaraderie of running. For the little ones, there’s a FREE kids' 1/2 mile fun run for ages 12 and under, kicking off at 6:00 PM.
After the runs, stick around to enjoy a delicious BBQ feast featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, sides, and refreshing water—just bring your own beverages to share! Don’t forget to register in advance so we can ensure a great turnout. Let’s come together to celebrate summer, fitness, and community spirit at this delightful event!

Join us for our 3rd annual MHRRC Summer BBQ & Fun Run. This event will have a FREE kids (ages 12 and under) 1/2 mile fun run starting at 6:00 pm and a FREE adult group run (not a race) starting at 5:15 pm with a FREE BBQ immediately after.

KIDS 1/2 MILE FUN RUN @ 6:00 PM - AGES 12 AND UNDER
ADULT GROUP RUN @ 5:15 PM LED BY SHAWN BERESFORD - ALL ABILITIES WELCOME!
BBQ IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE KID'S FUN RUN. WE WILL PROVIDE HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS, SIDES AND WATER. PLEASE BYOB.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REGISTER (THIS ENTIRE EVENT IS FREE) SO THAT WE CAN HAVE AN APPROXIMATE HEAD COUNT.
