Organiser's Description
Join us for the 2nd Annual Mi Casa es SLU Casa 5k or 1.5 mile walk, run, roll. This race is organized by the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. We are partnered with and all race proceeds will go towards the support of Casa de Salud, a non-profit health organization in the Saint Louis area.
This will be a fun way to help support the needs of the Hispanic community through providing monetary resources for things such as health screenings, physical exams, and many more medical expenses.
Everyone that chooses the T Shirt option AND signs up by MARCH 21ST will get a T-shirt in their chosen size. A limited number will be available first come, first serve past March 22nd and at the event site.
Everyone participating in the race, 5k and 1.5 mile version will be competing for a top 3 medal in each of the following age groups: 12 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60+. **Note: Everyone will receive a participation award. Only those on FOOT will receive placement medals.** Thank you for your understanding.

Esta carrera est'a organizada por la Asociaci'on de Estudiantes de Medicina Latinos (LMSA) en la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad de Saint Louis. Estamos asociados con Casa de Salud, una organizaci'on de salud sin fines de lucro en el 'area de Saint Louis, y todos los ingresos de la carrera ser'an para Casa de Salud.
Esta ser'a una manera divertida de ayudar a apoyar las necesidades de la comunidad hispana a trav'es de la provisi'on de recursos monetarios para cosas como ex'amenes de salud, ex'amenes f'isicos y muchos m'as gastos m'edicos.
Todos los que elijan la opci'on de camiseta Y favor de inscribirse antes del 21 de marzo para recibir una camiseta en su talla elegida. Un n'umero limitado estar'a disponible en orden de llegada pasado el 22 de marzo y en el sitio del evento.
Todos los participantes en la carrera, versi'on 5K y 1.5 millas competir'an por una medalla de los 3 mejores en cada uno de los siguientes grupos de edad: 12 a 18, 19 a 29, 30 a 39, 40 a 49, 50 a 59, y 60 . **Nota: Todos recibir'an un premio de participaci'on.
