Get ready for an exciting day of community spirit and fun at the 5th Annual Midway CD5K | Run, Walk & Roll, taking place on Saturday, November 9th, 2024, in Sanford, Seminole. This vibrant event will be hosted at the Midway Elementary School of The Arts bus ramp and parking lot, inviting parents, students, staff, and residents to come together and showcase their team colors—Red, Green, Yellow, Purple, Blue, and Orange!
With a packed schedule running from 6 AM to 12 PM, the day kicks off with registration at 6:30 AM, followed by the start of the 3.1-mile CD5K Run/Walk at 8 AM. Participants can also enjoy a unique rolling experience with a motorcycle and bicycle convoy. The first 250 registered participants will receive a coveted Midway CD5K finisher medal and swag bag, plus the option to purchase an event t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers, making it a competitive yet family-friendly atmosphere. 6 SQUADS 1 COMMUNITY ... Seminole County parents, students, staff, residents and surrounding communities are encouraged to wear Red, Green, Yellow, Purple, Blue and Orange squad shirts or their favorite color during the 5th Annual Community Day 5K Run, Walk and Roll in Historic Midway/Canaan City.
This family-fun and pet-friendly event benefits the Midway Coalition a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that supports community service initiatives and Midway Safe Harbor Center educational programs.
