Join us for the uplifting Mighty Madison's Birthday 5K on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Massapequa, Nassau! This spirited event celebrates the life of Madison, who bravely battled DIPG, a malignant brainstem tumor, and continues to inspire us all. Lace up your running shoes for a morning filled with hope and community, taking place at the beautiful Marjorie R. Post Community Park. Registration opens on-site at 7:30 AM, with the Kids Fun Run kicking off at 8:45 AM and the main 5K race starting at 9:00 AM.
This rain-or-shine event offers a scenic course along paved paths, featuring three and a half loops around the park. Participants will have the chance to hydrate at the water stop four times, and on the final lap, a right turn will lead you to the finish line! Each step taken during this event will contribute to raising awareness and funding for DIPG research through the Mighty Madison DIPG Research and Awareness Fund. Let's come together to honor Madison's legacy and support the fight against this challenging disease. See you there!

ON DECEMBER 2, 2021, AFTER A 32 MONTH BATTLE WITH THIS MONSTER OF A CANCER, MADISON LEFT HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO BECOME AN ANGEL. IN AN EFFORT TO CELEBRATE MADISON'S BIRTHDAY (SEPTEMBER 21ST) AND NEVER LET HER BE FORGOTTEN, WE WILL RUN, WALK, AND FIGHT IN MIGHTY MADISON'S NAME UNTIL A CURE IS FOUND FOR DIPG.
