Join us for the uplifting and inspiring Mighty Madison's Birthday 5K on Sunday, September 20th, 2026, in beautiful Massapequa, Nassau. This special event celebrates the life of Madison, who bravely battled DIPG, a rare and aggressive brain tumor, before becoming an angel on December 2, 2021. The race takes place at Marjorie R. Post Community Park, starting with registration at 7:30 AM, followed by a Kids Fun Run at 8:45 AM and the 5K race kicking off at 9:00 AM.
Participants will enjoy a scenic course that winds through the park, completing three and a half loops along paved paths, with hydration stations conveniently located throughout the route. This event not only honors Madison's memory but also supports ongoing research and awareness for DIPG through the Mighty Madison DIPG Research and Awareness Fund. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, come out and be part of this meaningful celebration of courage, community, and the quest for a cure!
