All participants will receive a small finishers gift courtesy of the Sandhills Running Club, and exciting prizes await the top male and female finishers in both races. PURPOSE: The "Miles 4 Moore" Pinecone 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will raise money for the Whispering Pines Veterans Memorial while connecting the local community and bringing awareness to a wellness lifestyle. This is a local fun run that begins and ends at the Whispering Pines Police/Fire Department located at 14 Hardee Lane and takes you through the local neighborhood. THE 1-MILE FUN RUN WILL BEGIN AT 7:40AM FOLLOWED BY THE 5K RACE AT 8AM SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2026.

SAME DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICKUP will be available at the start line from 6:30am-7:20am. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after September 1, 2026. There will be a limited supply available for purchase on race day.
