In addition to the thrilling competition, the Miller Landing Madness event has a heartwarming mission. Runners are encouraged to bring 2-4 cans of food to support the Second Harvest of the Big Bend Food Bank, aiming to collect at least 1,500 pounds of food to help neighbors facing hunger in the community. Join fellow runners and make a difference while enjoying an invigorating day of fitness, camaraderie, and fun! Don't miss out on this fantastic event that not only promotes health and wellness but also gives back to the community.
Organiser's Description
ALL RUNNERS ARE ASKED TO PROVIDE AT LEAST 2-4 CANS OF FOOD. ALL DONATED FOOD ITEMS WILL GO TO SECOND HARVEST OF THE BIG BEND FOOD BANK. SECOND HARVEST PROVIDES HEALTHY FOOD FOR NEIGHBORS FACING HUNGER AND FOOD INSECURITY THROUGHOUT THE 16-COUNTY BIG BEND SERVICE AREA. HELP THIS RACE COLLECT AT LEAST 1,500 POUNDS OF FOOD ITEMS THIS YEAR!
THE 8K AND 5K RACES START TOGETHER AT 8:00 A.M. THE 3K RACE STARTS AT 9:00 A.M.
All monetary proceeds benefit the GWTC Chenoweth Fund.
