Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the 1st annual Milton Youth Tri, taking place on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Milton, Rock! This vibrant event is designed to inspire youth aged 5-12 to embrace healthy, active lifestyles while fostering confidence and community spirit. Participants can choose between a thrilling Triathlon and a fun Kids Run, making it the perfect setting for a child's first triathlon experience.
The Triathlon includes age-specific distances: for ages 5-9, a 50-meter swim, a 1-mile bike ride, and a 0.4-mile run; for ages 10-12, the distances increase to a 100-meter swim, a 3-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. All participants will receive a medal and a T-shirt, ensuring they leave with lasting memories. The event kicks off at the Lieder Family Pool at Milton High School and culminates with a celebratory after-party on the track, bringing families together to honor the young athletes. Join us for this empowering day that promotes fitness, family engagement, and an inclusive community spirit!

Join us for the 1st annual Milton Youth Tri!
The Milton Youth Tri is an inspiring new initiative designed to promote youth fitness, confidence, and community spirit in Milton!
Funds raised from this event will go towards supporting youth with grants to participate in other athletic opportunities.
This event is NOT structured as a highly competitive race! It's the perfect event for a kid's first triathlon experience.
The Milton Youth Tri aims to:
* Encourage healthy, active lifestyles among youth
* Build confidence and determination in young athletes
* Create an inclusive community sporting event
* Inspire the next generation of athletes
* Promote family engagement in fitness activities
This opportunity is open to youth ages 5-12 with a Kids Run and a Triathlon!
KIDS RUN
Come run one loop around the outdoor track at the Milton High School! Young kids (siblings of triathlon participants!), parents, and strollers. All youth participants will receive a medal.
TRIATHLON
AGES 5-9
* Swim: 50 M (1 lap in the Milton High School pool)
* Bike: 1 mile (1 lap around Schilberg Park)
* Run: .4 miles (run from transition to the track + 1 loop on the track)
AGES 10-12
* Swim: 100m (2 laps in the pool)
* Bike: 3 miles (3 loops around Schilberg Park)
* Run: ~1 mile (run from transition + 3 loops on the track)
RACE RUN DOWN!
* The triathlon will begin in the Lieder Family Pool at the Milton High School.
* Athletes will exit the pool and follow the markers and volunteers to make their way (blue arrows on the map) to the front parking lot/transition.
* Once on their bikes (HELMETS ARE REQUIRED), athletes will exit the parking lot and turn right onto High Street. Please note that High Street will be closed from Rainbow Drive to the Cone Zone.
* Athletes will loop Schilberg Park in a counterclockwise loop (orange arrows). One loop for ages 5-9 and three loops for ages 10-12.
* Once loops are completed, athletes will exit Schilberg Park and make their way back to the bike transition area.
* Once bikes are returned to the transition area, athletes will follow the run route (pink arrows) to the track. One loop on the track for ages 5-9 and three loops for ages 10-12.
* The finish line will be on the track!
ALL TRIATHLON PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT AND A MEDAL.
There will be an AFTER PARTY on the track and a chance for families to celebrate the finishers!
